It is with great regret that I received your inti-

mation that Mr. T. E. Tawell, whom I recommended for the appointment of Apothecary in Hong Kong, has failed to

satisfy the Medical Authority.

I have had an interview with another suitable

candidate Mr. Arnold Tom Strong of Moreton-in-Marsh, Glos

and I have no hesitation in recommending him for the

vacancy.

Mr. Strong is twenty-five years of age and

passed the Minor & Major Examinations whilst in this Society's School of Pharmacy. Will you kindly communi-

cate with him at Moreton-in-Marsh.
